CNC Swiss-style machining has allowed Smith Tool and Design to tackle very complex parts, utilizing our 7-axis Citizen L-25 machines.
Our Swiss department has entered the world of "Micro-Machining", welcoming the challenge of very small and complex components and assemblies, to utilize our expert capabilities in CNC Swiss turning.
We have invested heavily in lean practices, permitting us to boast shorter setup and turn-around times than many of our competitors. This allows us the flexibility to be responsive to customer needs, and extremely competitive even on smaller lot quantities.
